Hi Melanie,

Or maybe ViaVoice was using Dave?

ViaVoice has improved a lot in recent years. The linux version has
improved in leaps and bounds since its first release. I did just
one short enrollment session and was getting amazing accuracy from
the dictation (recognition) engine. I was also blown away to find
that they have example programs that operate xcalc (calulator) by
voice (you say ten times three equals), and also some example
code that moves windows around the sreen by voice command.

Rachel's Purse-Wearable already suffers from multiple personality
disorder using the different voices. The purse greets her at boot
time, then ...

  - papa voice says "I hope you have a great day"
  - baby voice says "I hope you have a great day"
  - mama voice says "We hope you have a great day"

I was telling her about the appliance control and the eliza stuff
etc and she started to look nervous. I asked her why and she said
she's afraid that this purse might take over her life!

or maybe the papa viavoice voice...
Youch that's hot in more ways than one

If you're going to play with your husband's soldering iron,
there are lots of intereting ideas here:

I have a huge collection of wearable links here:
