Re: Flexible Numeric Keypad

Well I finally got the courage and took the keypad apart and noted that the
rubber keys on the super mouse if cut could be made to fit my numeric
keypad once I remove the plastic keys, the plastic subplate and expose the
flexible plastic electronics below. I can also see that If I modify the
thin, hard plastic plate beneath the keys, I can glue the rubber key's
scavanged from a calculator and the super mouse directly to the contact
electrontics over the correct spots, then glue the hard plastic plate over
the rubber buttons after modifing the cutouts. Then remove the thin metal
back plate and replace it with a thin, stiff but flexible plastic sheet.
Bond all these together with some kind of product and presto! I've got a
wearable, flexible, semi-waterproof keypad!.

Here's my new question: How can I cover this whole assembly? I was
thinking of that plastic contact film used for sealing photo's but that
won't work well over the rubber keys. Any ideas??
