Just got off the phone with Sean, at Advantech's Cincinnati offices, regarding their PCM-9370 Transmeta Crusoe SBC. Apparently it was released within the last several weeks, but it seems to be a pretty spiffy unit, and I'm considering it for my mobile audio PC now. Jacks the hardware cost up a few hundred bucks, but the lower power consumption and smaller size would be worth it. It's a 3.5" form-factor SBC, with a TM5400 500MHz CPU (~P3/300MHz, iirc) apparently surface mounted onboard, 64mb RAM in the first SODIMM socket (16mb gets used by the Crusoe) plus a second SODIMM (up to 256mb), 10/100 ethernet (Intel 82559ER), VGA/LCD, CF, PC/104+, two USB, IDE, FDD, two serial, one parallel. The spec sheet lists power consumption at a max of five volts at three amps, with typical being five volts at 2.14 amps. It also supports a custom audio/visual card (PCM-231AV) that provides video output (composite and S-Video; SMI Lynx 721 chipset) and audio input/output (line-in, line-out, mic; VIA 82C868A chipset). I haven't been able to find any information on specific Linux support for the audio and video chipsets, if anyone knew about them, I'd appreciate a heads up. No Linux support for at least the audio would make it a wash. Single unit quantities of the 9370 run $725, and the 231 output board is an additional $37. It's not available from their online store, but I guess you can order it right from Advantech over the phone.
