We're supposed to be seeing a new Transmeta chip soon. Also, with the new manufacturer (Taiwanese instead of IBM), price should drop to about $60 instead of about $200. New chip should also be faster, and more integrated (fewer chips to accomplish same functions). I suppose once the chip is released (possibly to be announced this month), the SBC based on it will be much cheaper. But is it likely to take another year before I could actually purchase it? Thanks for indicating price, btw! I was looking at this unit today, and then searched the wear-hard archives for a price reference, but couldn't find one anywhere. Under $800 is actually pretty good, but since I've waited this long.... Cheers -- Carol Stein---- Vito Miliano <
