Interesting, apparently they pack as much punch as some
of the lithium-ion polymer batteries.

Apparently Specific Energy can be a measure by either mass
or volume. Here's a note on this:
http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit/notes3.htm#spenergy
And here are conversion caculators for both:
http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit/ccspengm.htm
http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit/ccspengv.htm

The beauty of the english language is that there are
47 variants of the same term that mean the same thing
to some people and something altogether different to
other people.

This glossary lists energy density as a weight measure
http://www.eren.doe.gov/consumerinfo/glossary.html

I guess it depends on what your definition of energy is
and what your definition of density is. There seems to
be a lot of different definitions out there. But in
actual every day usage, any foreigner with translation
dictionary in hand will not encounter either the volume
or mass energy density terms, instead someone will tell
them "these batteries hold more juice". Juice? You know,
they pack more punch, have more whallop, just to make
sure we are on the same page. What page? And just who
are the "they" in "they say" anyways? =8^)
