You may recall that a few months back I mentioned the Embedded Linux Journal was sponsoring a contest to kick-off it's first issue. The challenge was to use embedded linux in a unique way, given a MZ104 development kit from Tri-M systems. The contest was divided into several stages. First, contestants submitted a proposal outlining their ideas. Then, 100 finalists were selected from these proposals, to receive the MZ104 dev. kits. Well, they announced the winners today at LinuxWorld - and I just received a confirming email... I can expect a MZ104 kit in the mail real soon now... (Jealous Doug?) :) Anyhow, for those that are interested in the projects, I'm sure ELJ will post the list shortly on their website (http://embedded.linuxjournal.com). People have some up with some very interesting applications... glad I didn't go for a wearable application - competition is fierce! Looks like Steve M. is getting a dev. kit too... (congrats Steve). - Mike K. -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org please, Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/false domain
