Hi,

I'm working on a project using jumptec pc104 boards. I use a Jumptec dual
slot isa-to-pcmcia bridge (vadem vg-469). I use a WhiteDwarf Linux but
the same problem arise with a Debian/Woody. I use the package pcmcia-cs
3.1.22 and kernel l2.4.10.

At boot time :

Linux Kernel Card Services 3.1.22
  options: [pci]
Intel PCIC probe:
  Vadem VG-469 ISA-to-PCMCIA at port 0x3e0 ofs 0x00, 2 sockets
    host opts [0]: none
    host opts [1]: none
ISA irqs (scanned) = 3,4,5,7,9,10,11,12,15 status change on irq 15
cs: IO port probe 0x0c00-0x0cff: clean
cs: IO port probe 0x0800-0x08ff: clean
cs: IO port probe 0x0100-0x04ff: excluding 0x378-0x37f 0x4d0-0x4d7
cs: IO port probe 0x0a00-0x0aff: clean
cardmgr: starting, version is 3.1.20
cardmgr: watching 2 sockets
cardmgr: Card Services release does not match

When I plug a Avaya Silver wavelan card, supported by the orinoco driver :

cardmgr: initializing socket 1
cs: memoryprobe 0x0d0000-0x0dffff: clean.
cardmgr: socket 1: Avaya World Card
cardmgr: executing: 'modprobe hermes'
cardmgr: executing: 'modprobe orinoco'
cardmgr: executing: 'modprobe orinoco_cs'
cardmgr: executing: './network start eth1'

# ifconfig
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:02:2D:22:2B:86
        inet addr:192.168.1.2 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

        collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
        interrupt:3 Base address:0x100

lo ...

Till here, everything seems OK, but :

Same kind of problem arise when I use a D-link ethernet card
(not wavelan).

Does anybody have an idea of what's wrong ?

Thanks.
