I'm shocked that I haven't seen this mentioned on the list!
According to a site called http://www.pdabuzz.com Royal is
planning an updated Royal DaVinci model, for release in a few
months, which will be distribued running LINUX. Considering
Royal's track record so far, I'd say this isn't vaporware.
The possibilities for this device are astounding, especially
considering that it would retail for about $199, and run LINUX!
(Besides, I like the folding keyboards... :-) )
Reactions:? Opinions? Excitement? I know I'm excited. In
fact, I'm debating whether I should pick up a 2M DaVinci right
now...it's on sale locally, and was supposed to be my belated
birthday gift.
