actually all you need to make a HMD is: the driver board the actual film or plate that is the HMD element proper input to driver board power to driver board (am I missing anything else?) the driver board, the proper signals, and the final debugging of the whole setup are the prolly the most difficult, but what do I know I havent built an HMD to date ;[) In a message dated 1/15/2002 6:31:24 PM Central Standard Time, writes: << If it's GPL it would prolly have to be accessible by people as well as orginisations. Can I build it off the web ? Therefore it would be based on a hack of another product ? No ? I've seen http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~clock/twibright/ronja/ and it's available from COTS parts... but an HMD ? That stretches it. Call me a pessimist but I can't see any of us building our *own* HMD... yet Mind you... a lot of very imaginative people frequent this list... -- >> -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
