I really doubt that Xybernaut can win that lawsuit. Think about all the M$ flaming on the net: they could sue half of the population of the world, and there are hundreds of M$ bashing sites out there. How about this one ... http://www.bushorchimp.com/ LOL. Bush can't stop this! In my opinion, if you want to be in any kind of business (or politics), you have to be willing to accept criticism from competitors, customers, and everyone else too. But this story really makes me think twice about what I say on the net, I just mentioned Xybernaut here a few days ago, and I mentioned Via some time ago. Did I mention that they both suck? hahahahaha. > These types of lawsuits are called SLAPPs, Strategic > Lawsuits Against Public Participation; essentially > corporate quelling of free speech. <g> So flames lead to slaps huh. Ain't that a kick in the pants. Only in the USA. Any other country would laugh at this kind of lawsuit. Better watch out, because Dan Whatley will tell the teacher on you, maybe your mother too. Just wait till dad gets home. The article says that Xybernaut is a profitless wearable company. The other day I said I'm smart enough to know that I can't compete with them. Maybe I was wrong :) Oops, please don't foward to Whatley. He'd have difficulty suing me from outside the borders of murrica anywho. > If Xybernaut and its management are petty and > invective enough to frivolously sue over message > board posts that they simply don't like, then I > will not do business with them.
