TuxScreen-Vest

I've nearly finished a vest with a TuxScreen as computing-core
using it's touch-screen. :)
I started a page on the wiki at
http://wearforge.perilith.com/bin/view/Main/WOC2 for it.

Now I have a problem. The DSTN-Display has a small board atached to
it with a capacity, 2 inductivities and a few other parts. I lengthened
the cable between it and the backlight and made a temporary cover from
plexi-glass and tape. It did work after that. Then I began working on
the vest and fittet evertything in there for a while.
Then I took cpu and display out and tried to power them up again but
the display stays black. I can see the system comming uo the the serial-
port, login and everything but the display stays black.

I damaged the cover of the smaller inductivity but it still worked after
that and I cannot make out any damage on the CPU- nor the comm-board or
the conectors.

On the input-side of the small board I can measure 3.3V, 5V and some
0.xV-signals but nothing on the output-lines (I expect it to generate
AC but the multimeter does not show AC(200 and 750V selected, never used
that before) not a DC voltage-drop).

If the cable to the display has been damaged somehow I would expect the
backlight to still come on.

Any suggestions what I meight look for?
I wanted to wear the system tomorrow on the local CCC-meeting. :(

Marcus
