Re: wireless home wearable

Scott,

I did an exhaustive search for wireless VGA a couple of years ago
and didn't find anything. There are tons of wireless NTSC products,
in fact I have one that is amazingly tiny. But NTSC is nowhere near
the quality of VGA for text. More band width is needed to transmit
VGA, and there isn't much of a market for this. A while back there
was a link posted (by Chris I think) for a webpad type thing which
was supposed to be similar to what you are describing. It seemed
to do wireless VGA from a PC rendering on the webpad. I was a
bit skeptical on performace. I'm sure it's in the archives. Aside
from that I have only heard of one other wireless VGA transmitter,
and that was a home brew one that one of the wear-harders
cooked up (not sure what parts he used). A LOT of data moves
over the digital lines to LCDs ...
