Hello folks, I'm playing with ideas for increasing the utility of my wearable for taking notes while in class. I don't think I'll ever be fast enough on my Twiddler to take notes while in class, and the Twiddler doesn't handle sketching at all. I'm thinking of locating a Cross CrossPad to take notes on and later upload them to the wearable or have them transferred real-time to my wearable. Once the notes are in the wearable I would use some form of OCR to convert my notes to text for use by my local copy of TWiki, Remembrance Agent, or jAugment. Has anyone played with a CrossPad or similar tech? I'm also looking into using the wearable as a voice and image recorder during classes. I could then listen to the lecture and focus on the content and not have to scramble to transcribe it. The audio can be reviewed later and possibly transcribed. I believe CMU's Sphinx3 has successfully been used to recognize and transcribe voice content offline. Hopefully, I'm not chasing a pipe dream. I welcome any comments, recommendations, ideas, etc. -Freeman -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/expander/false domain
