news groups, an easier way to communicate, or atleast a supplement

I was think what if we started a wearables Google Groups, maybe in alt or
something I guess..... it would be an easier way for ppl who also post to
mail to post to a ng

or what if we wrote a daemon that seperated msgs by a
code(alt.wearables.****(the class of msg, like LCDs, or HMDs, or SOFTWARE, or
HARDWARE)) included in the subject of the email, and the ng posting of each
mail msg would list the entire mail received(well we could block out the
header file as to protect privacy or security... dunno if that would do
anything....)

my point is this, if we could echo mail from here onto a ng or several ng
classified by category, then perhaps it would make it easier, more enjoyable
for some?
I am not even sure that we could get it on Google.....
anyways.... the archives is one thing..... but the ng would be easier to
navigate and I am sure there are other good and bads about this.......
it wouldnt be more than 30 to 40 msg a week, so I dont see that much of a
load on the machine that sorts and posts to the ng's(newsgroups of
alt.wearable.****(if we decide thats the ng name...))

well anyways.... I think google would be a nice way to expose others who just
surf the ngs.... but it could attract more drivel and junk mail as well.......
anyways.... lets all come up with some kinda good reaction it could have and
a bad reaction

I dont think that a usr of the ng should be able to send from the ng, they
should have to join the mail list, and instead of our email addresses,
perhaps the daemon could post the first part of our address and our names?
