I don't quite understand the question. Assuming you mean a wearable, if you need a 3D accelerator, your options are probably limited to an SBC (single-board computer) with an available PCI slot, into which you could plug a PCI 3D accelerator card. I believe at least one other list member has worked on this, so they'd be able to tell you what kind of battery life (not) to expect when you're working with that. You'd also still need a display, enclosure, and all the other pieces that make up a system. You could also use a high-end laptop; Dell, IBM and Toshiba all make machines with GeForce2Go, GeForce4Go, and Mobile Radeon 7500 chipsets, and they can be configured decently for under $3000 (or excellently for under $4000). If you don't need a 3D accelerator, and can function using a software renderer, then just find a system that meets the game's minimum requirements, and build off that. Charmed has a Pentium 266 system for $2000, or a Transmeta 800MHz system (probably around a P2/P3 500) for $2500; all you'd need is a display, and Windows and Half-Life. If you're looking at using "just a screen" as the wearable, with a desktop PC doing the actual game processing, I don't think either RDP or RFB are fast enough that you could play a video game of any sort and expect it to be usable. Finally, if all this is just because you're looking to get a new LAN party machine, I'd suggest looking at a high-end laptop instead. Wearables aren't really "off-the-shelf" commodities; even the Charmed units are very much research-class machines.
