A tracking number is used to determine where your package is along its
delivery route. In order to use it, first see how they said they would ship
it (FedEx? UPS? other?). Then go to the site of the shipping company, click
"tracking," and copy in that number (which, of course, you pasted from the
e-mail where you looked up how it was to be shipped).
