you do have some very good points. I will more than likly use an NTSC HMD do primarily to cost. I have an NTSC HMD I have hacked but its not working right. If I can get it working I will use that. But the issue of the TV out resolution is a valid one. I will probobly take a look at other motherboards without the TV out. they would probobly be cheaper. Of course unless I found a reasonably priced VGA HMD I would need the scan converter. I can always look on ebay. as far as my screen setup I will be using win98. so I plan to take advantage of all the accsessability features. I plan to have large fonts and contrasting screen colors and such. if I rememeber right win98 has a magnifire feature to magnify portions of the screen. another thing I just remembered. The HMD I have now I used on a mac powerbook g3 hooked up to its S-video output. I was able to get menu items to be readable without to much dificulty. larger menu fonts would have helped though. But all in all the resolution was fine. ---wrote: > Hi Jennifer > > That's an idea with the TV out but from all my > experience dealing with video > cards > in the past I'm yet to see one that gives a crisp > clean TV output.
