Have you considered a Mini-ITX board based on the new 733 MHz Nehemiah-
based C3=3F The CPU itself is stated to use 1W in AutoHalt-mode (i.e.,
HLT idle loop under Linux/BeOS/2k), 4.4 typ and 6W max. Add to that
the other components in the mainboard, and you have something that's
vastly faster than the Geode-based 3.5" SBC, granted slightly larger
(17x17 cm), but it shouldn't consume /much/ more CPU. Plus, I guess
you could run it on a lower voltage if you change the multiplier/bus
speed, still quite fast, but not as power hungry.

As per the e-mail I sent to the list (did you guys get it, or did you
just ignore me=3F :), it seems one'd get ~6-8W lower power consumption
than the Epia-800, tested before on the list, i.e., around 3-4W idle
(if I've done the calculations correctly, that is.)

On another note, I'm looking for a display of some sort, and I'm not
sure what to get. I do know I want some kind of head-mounted display.
How would one go about acquiring/building a HMD that I can see through,
i.e,. super-imposing the display on the real world=3F

Thanks in advance,
