Yep, on the length. But... most laptops that I have disassembled (quite a few) have LVDS built-in. That's a bummer for those of us looking for GVIF (like for the Olympus/IBM/whatever display) or for TMDS (the input box for the Olympus took TMDS). FWIW, we're talking laptops by Sony, IBM, DEC and Dell mostly. If you are looking for info on LVDS, also try searching for PanelLink, which is trademarked by someone - probably Silicon Image, Inc (see: http://www.siimage.com/ ). I believe, though could be wrong, that TI also made some interface chips (75LVDS83). I've seen cable runs ~15-20meters for LVDS. --2fHTh5uZTiUOsy+g Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Solaris) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE/VNxqseEAy04yxr4RAoh/AKDOTvr4BnwSaKYi9QboPUm1Ke8+1wCdFw0P 1AdRcq1uHiEnITAwdrzEaqs= =kgbr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --2fHTh5uZTiUOsy+g-- -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/expander/false domain
