HMD wireing

Ok I have a slight dilema with my hacked HMD. The
problem I was having is that when you moved the cable
the LCD would shut off or flicker. So right now the
power connector plug is cut off. I plan to get a new
plug at radio shack and see if I can fix it. What my
problem is, is that I don't know what the wires are
for. It has the following wires: black, red, orange,
green, blue and grey. its probobly safe to assume the
black and red are the + and - voltage. What are the
other wires for? Because they all solder to the power
connector one can assume they give power to somthing.
The wires for the video signal and audio are seperat.
so these wires are for power only. asside from + and -
voltage what else is there? the HMD has a small
controll box that you controll brightness, contrast,
and volume with. the green and grey wires are soldered
to the controll box circut board and come out the
side. the rest of them go right to the main diver
board the LCD's plug into. It origionaly had 2 LCD's
by the way.

I hope I can get this damn thing working.

PS can anyone point me to technical specs and what not
on the kopin color LCD's(this what this HMD uses). I
haven't realy payed much attention to the emails
regarding kopin LCD's
