wear-hard, What is the resolution of the Microoptical AV-1, in characters? 40x25? I haven't been able to find this anywhere. Has anyone looked into making it wireless? Rather than using Bluetooth or something else modern and funky, taking a low power TX433 and RX433 pair and using them: http://www.qkits.com/serv/qkits/velleman/pages/RX433.asp http://www.qkits.com/serv/qkits/velleman/pages/TX433.asp They're meant to go right onto a serial port. Is there some reason that this is a bad idea? If not, could the electronics be repackaged to make the glasses-clipped portion self-sufficient? I believe this might be ideal for me.
