Re: AV-1 resolution? wireless possibility?

Hello Vito,

making the AV-1 wireless is an option.
Nevertheless - it is very sensitive to the timing and only accepts serial
data when it indicates it with the CTS line.
That caused severe problems for me when I tried to drive the AV-1 with a
Bluetooth serial adapter (e.g. PICOPlug).
Even though these adapters support hardware handshaking, they do it with a
uController and do not exactly meet the correct timing.

If you send data to the AV-1 if it's not ready to receive its screen just
gets white.

Apart from that - the AV-1 electronics use a standard connector and you
can drive a display that is covered in e.g. sunglasses (just like those
that Don Papp made).
