Small LCD Screens

I was just wondering what people here have used as alternatives to HMD's,
and what the relative costs are. I was hoping to find a very small LCD
screen that can fit in a pocket, black and white would be fine.

Has anyone had any luck converting preview screens from digital cameras
before? What kind of input do they generally like?
