Because the destination (or some address in the middle) address that
bounces isn't the address that's subscribed to the list.  So there's
no easy way to figure out which list address to ban.  No mailing list
software could take care of that either.  Perhaps you're just luckier
than most list admins to not run into this sort of thing.
