Yes,  you can just move the signal inversion board down to the belt pack
and run a length of bioflex to the back of the LCD.  If you are running
NTSC/PAL only, I would recommend utilizing the M1 RS170
(http://www.tekgear.com/product.cfm?sku=0007) or M1 RS170 OEM module
(http://www.tekgear.com/product.cfm?sku=0101).  Much smaller size and
1/10th the power consumption.
