They sell many things if you just email them, as opposed to the web store.

The PT6302 requires 9-30v so if you use camcorder batteries you need one
set in series and you are generating 5v in the end. This is made by TI.

You can use Datel converter UNS-5/3-D12(D) which takes 6-16.5v input and
outputs 5v. so you should be able to power with just one battery at a
time.

both do 3A at 5V. I believe that the Charmed systems use the Datel, but
many use the TI. You can get free samples of the TI $15.95 part if you
ask.. which is nice.. Datel can sell you the parts directly for about $30.
Digikey has the TI but not the Datel.
