I confess I wanted the 32bit so I could use 1394 or usb2 cards if necessary in the future. I will definitely do more looking though. I have regular search parameters on ebay... this one must've slipped through them. > I would suggest taking a twiddler before the SV3 (though I lust for this > display). Try the M1 RS170 from tekgear. It hangs on the front of a pair Actually, I've already purchased the sv3, which is why I am pinching pennies now. Also, I wonder if the M1 has a smaller or larger exit pupil than the sv3? > I have no experience with compact flash, but they are reported to have > limited writes, which would be a problem for running a microdrive as your > primary disk. Yes, that is why I'll be setting up some sort of ram disk to limit the writes to the flash. I realize I should've been more specific about what I might be doing with software configuration. I am still debating whether using cramfs is necessary or not (400mb cramfs, 112mb ext2 for writes). I can't start working on this until I get the Twiddler1 working however. > :http://store.yahoo.com/grandtec/minivikusb.html > These are really cool.... I want one :) It's not something I would use for everyday typing, as you must press the keys fairly firmly, slowing down your typing. However, it rolls up nicely and would be an excellent alternative to using a twiddler when you are at a table or desk. -- ~phoo~ May the Google be with you. -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/expander/false domain
