 Was it 16bit or 32bit? I confess I wanted the 32bit so I could use 1394 
or usb2 cards if necessary in the future. I will definitely do more 
looking though. I have regular search parameters on ebay... this one must've 
slipped through them.

 Actually, I've already purchased the sv3, which is why I am pinching 
pennies now. Also, I wonder if the M1 has a smaller or larger exit pupil 
than the sv3?

 Yes, that is why I'll be setting up some sort of ram disk to limit the 
writes to the flash. I realize I should've been more specific about what I 
might be doing with software configuration. I am still debating whether 
using cramfs is necessary or not (400mb cramfs, 112mb ext2 for writes). I 
can't start working on this until I get the Twiddler1 working however.

 It's not something I would use for everyday typing, as you must press the 
keys fairly firmly, slowing down your typing. However, it rolls up nicely 
and would be an excellent alternative to using a twiddler when you are at 
a table or desk.
