Actually digital pulse stuff does 100 MBit/s right now in the lab, and it will scale to ~1 GBit/s. I'm not sure how pulses are attenuated, but higher data rates seem to be intrinsically associated with higher attenuation, a trend towards working best in line of sight (line of sight lasers being at the extreme range) and smaller cells (unless we're talking extremely anisotropic radiators). > Something tell me the latter... :-) :-) > > Tatty bye, > > Jim'll -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/expander/false domain
