As long as you don't insulate it too much, it shouldn't overheat. Mine has no CPU fan, just a heat sink. I just keep it well ventilated, and it stays within safe operating parameters. If you plan on packaging it in a bag or pouch of some sort, you'll probably want to ensure that it has decent air flow over the heat sink.
