We're evaluating similar functionality in a different shape (more like a
joy-stick shape) and the ones with pointers are US$35- at 1k quantity.
The same thing without the "laser" pointer is $30 at the same volume.
I've never seen them retail, so I don't know what the price is.

BTW: The units we have contain a charger in the USB portion (which is
shaped like a "UFO" ... it has a cable) and the batteries in the
handheld are rechargable.
The range drops as the batteries wear ... after several hours of use
expect a range of 1 meter!
