HD issues

 Hey all,

 I have a Lippert CRR2. I've been having an issue with getting both the HD 
and the compact flash to work at the same time. The HD is properly 
mastered as slave, and both drives work perfectly when alone, and detect 
perfectly together in bios. However, after the info screen at boot (where 
everything is listed correctly), it gives me the 'please insert valid 
system disk' as if there were no drives connected to the system at all. I 
am mystified. There is only one external IDE channel, so I don't know how 
I would put the HD as a master on the secondary channel (if it indeed 
exists as bios says). Any ideas?
