A question thats a bit off-topic

Hello everyone.

At this moment I'm upgrading my old (but very trusty) Thinkpad 755C
laptop
with some odds and ends I've been scavenging from the local robotics club

and auction center. One of those recent add-ons is a rechargeable
powerpack, so far I can get 2 hours of use out of it, but I figure that
if I replace
the inverter for the laptops backlight (and the light itself) with three
or four
white leds that should reduce power consumption (it also helps that I
have
these leds on hand).

Unfortunately I haven't found any detailed information concerning the
inverter
board (+, -, and the functions for the rest of the pins). Would anyone
here
happen to have this information on hand and or know where I might find
it?

(Yeah....I've tried searching but all I get are paysites that sell
inverters, not tell
about them.)

Thankyou for your time.
