We're laying out a PCB for a handheld computer with Ethernet.
There is no space (height) for an RJ-45 connector.
The customer has spec'd a USB "Mini Type-B" like on a camera.
Nice size, and cheap, but I'm not sure about signal integrity on both pairs
of wire for the Ethernet signal (only 10-BaseT).
Does anyone have a favorite low-profile, low-cost, hi-speed connector
suitable for Ethernet usage?
SMT is preferrable, but through-hole is OK.
Width isn't a problem....
