Surely the *part* is available. I've never looked for one, but if the
project is a one-off they could even buy a dead card, and scavenge the
connector!
The original request said they were laying out a PC board for a PDA sized
computer, and needed a low profile connector. It was the height that was
the issue, and the width was irrelevant.
