I have a CCR2, which I've been rather disappointed with because of power constraints. For some reason it won't even run a laptop drive and CF. When I first got it, I ran out and bought http://www.advantech.com.tw/products/Model_Detail.asp?model_id=1-KOU3Q&PD=EC PCM-3115 (notice the PCI connector). I've tried configuring it a number of ways and realized it was just sucking too much power... it prevented the CCR2 from booting. The vendor was of little help, saying the PCI bus wouldn't supply the 5V (which doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I'm inexperienced at embedded HW). Recently a friend loaned me something that is probably the same as: http://www.adlogic-pc104.com/products/peripherals/datasheets/msmj.pdf. This is the only module I've found that is mounted in this particular way. Notice that is consumes only 1W. I'd much prefer the sideways mounting of 3115B http://www.tri-m.com/products/aaeon/files/specs/pcm3115b_spec.pdf, but it seems to consume the same amount of power as the unit I have now - 3.5W. BUT maybe the ISA bus would magically pass enough power through? The straightforward mounting of the msmj would be a pain, plus it's >$100 more than I'd have to pay for the other. I am hoping someone will have experience with the CCR2 and be able to make an educated guess whether 3115B will work, or if I need to shell out the extra cash.
