I have a sublaptop (512mb ram) with hmd and wristPC. I have found
trouble in walking around with this system on, results in bad sectors on
the hard disk. So, I must switch to a inmemory OS for my wearable
applications. Any suggestions on a good base? I'm assuming I can get a
very usable system in under 256mb of ram. In the end I will need to be
able to add and remove applications from memory (perhaps taking them
from a cdrom when needed, or if from disk... id need a sure way to park
the disk?)

I suppose in order to customize the key is being able to remove app's
from memory and load different ones from a CD, USB key, or whatever.

Anyone know of a good base linux distro to start with?

Thanks
