Due to lack of time to experiment, excessive amounts of hardware, financial necessity, and other reasons, I have decided to offer numerous hardware parts for sale, much of them specifically wearable-related. I have a lot of random hardware bits and pieces I've collected over the years, so feel free to email me about things I haven't listed, e.g. connectors, resistors, pots, wire, etc. I've received a lot of help over the years from this list, so these things are being offered here first and then will go up for auction on eBay. M1 Parts http://homepage.mac.com/michael.guo/images/ebay/m1.jpg These are parts from a hacked M1. I'll throw in sunglasses (I also have three other pairs I could throw in), a number of CyberDisplay 320s, a diffuser, beamsplitter, a couple PCBs originally made by Don Papp, and everything else you see here. Everything is here to make a useable covert HMD. Kopin CyberDisplay 320 I have 38 of these in addition to the ones that will come with the M1. Buy one, two, or more! ROBO-503 http://homepage.mac.com/michael.guo/images/ebay/robo503.jpg This is a very neat SBC that measures about 4" x 5.75". It has USB, mic, audio out, headphone jack, parallel port, serial port, floppy, ide, cf card slot (can even boot from it!), TWO Ethernet jacks (probably the neatest feature), keyboard/mouse jack, VGA out, and more. I am also throwing in a 256MB PC133 So-DIMM. Power Supply http://homepage.mac.com/michael.guo/images/ebay/power.jpg This originally came with the ROBO-503 and is very useful when working on the board, because you can plug in an extra CD-ROM drive or floppy drive. It provides 5V at 5A and 12V at 1.5A VIA II http://homepage.mac.com/michael.guo/images/ebay/via.jpg These are two VIA II wearable computers, one VGA adapter, and two batteries. All of this is in unknown condition. I bought them a while ago and never got a chance to play around with them. Microchip Development System http://homepage.mac.com/michael.guo/images/ebay/microchip.jpg This is a development kit/demo kit with a development board, two PIC chips, MPLAB ICD 2, cables, software, etc. I originally got this from Digi-Key for $229: http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Criteria? Ref=346573&Site=US&Cat=32178886. Metex M-3890D http://homepage.mac.com/michael.guo/images/ebay/metex.jpg This is a very useful auto-ranging/digital multimeter, which hooks up to your PC via USB. I originally bought it from Jameco for $99.95: http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId= -1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=127043. I also have tons of cables, connectors, solder, resistors, capacitors, wire, soldering irons, glass cutters, files, etc. There are also tons of non-wearable related parts, including CD-ROM drives, computer cases, hard drives, LCD screens, KVMs, printers, etc. My apartment is rather cluttered, and all this stuff needs to go! I will ship everything via USPS Priority Mail domestically and USPS Global Priority Mail internationally. If you have other shipping preferences, I may be able to accommodate. If you're in the Boston area, you can just come pick it up. Heck, you can come rummage through all of my parts and see if there's anything you want in particular. To help establish my credibility, here's a link to my eBay profile: http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/goorulz I have a feedback rating of 332. You can pay me via PayPal, personal checks, money orders, or cash (but not via mail). Thanks. -- Michael Guo email:url: http://michaelguo.com aim: goorulz _______________________________________________ Wear-Hard mailing list
