Re: MiniPCI Video Card?

Hello Scott,

I have 2 mini-PCI ATI Rage XL cards here:
	mPCI-8750
		and
	MS-9513

These next days I'll be testing both in a mini-ITX Pentium-M motherboard
that has an mini-PCI slot (DFI-ACP G5M100-N).

This will be a first step however only - because they are finally ment for
a MIPS based meshcube (which has e.g. USB host, eth, WLAN => makes a
nice wearable platform).

Nevertheless - on non-x86 systems the VGA card can't be initialized by its
own BIOS (that is x86 code) - so we're busy working on a workaround (there
are some good starting points such as code in the ati128fb, xfree86 for
initializing 2nd and further cards and x86 emulators).
I hope to sooner or later have VGA output for the meshcube - but we are
not that far yet.

best regards
 Ralf
