* Notification of acceptance: 5th February 2005

In addition to the regular Forum proceedings authors of selected high quality contributions will be invited to submit extended and revised versions of their papers to a monograph on applied wearable computing that will be published by Springer.

Topics
IFAWC will provide a snapshot of cutting edge research in the application of wearable computers. To this end original contributions are sought in relevant areas including (but not limited to):
* Industrial case studies
* Specific applications and their evaluation
* Wearable computer systems
* Sensors and sensor networks
* Activity and context recognition
* User interfaces
* Middleware
* Development tools
* Integration technologies including textile electronics
* Social aspects
Submission instructions
All paper submissions will be handled electronically.
Papers should be prepared in Springer LNCS format and not exceed 15 pages including references and all figures. We explicitly welcome shorter papers of up to 10 pages for presentation of pointed results.
All paper submissions will be treated as full papers but it is important that their length is appropriate for their content. They should be submitted electronically through the EDAS submission website in pdf format by 15th January, 2004, 23.59 CET.
A link from www.ifawc.org to the submission site will be available from 1st December 2004.
Authors will be notified of receipt of submission via e-mail. If you do not receive notification, please contact the Program Chair.
