Roland, We have an early prototype display unit from Virtual Vision that is almost 3 years old using the same OLED display element. Everyone who tries it is very impressed with the image brightness and clarity. It is finally showing signs of burn-in though ... something related to having been accidentally left on over the weekend a couple of times... We are using Virtual Vision's SVGA adapter board, driven from our 4" square ARM/Linux computer (the Medallion dev.kit), but may drive the displays directly (no adapter board) for future products. We haven't tried the Tek-Gear board (yet) but it looks interesting.
