I have tried a half dozen of those dual PS/2 to USB adapters with my Iogear KVM, but the mouse won't work (and yes, I've tried several different mice). Using one of the passive adapters (like the one in the link below) it does work--depending on the mouse, it's not compatible with all mice :( The other option would be to find a PS/2 to USB adapter that only converted the mouse and was not a composite device, but I don't know if anyone makes those.
