If you want to build, go here. It will be small, but greyscale and
QVGA. For other options read on.

You can't build an SV-6 for that cheap. The SV-6 is 18bit 640x480 VGA
color system that costs $1995 because of low volumes

The M1 is a greyscale 320x240 QVGA system that costs around $500 also
due to low volumes

For high volumes or they are losing money, get an ICUITI display,
which is currently on backorder
