The dumb-bt you're talking about might be something like RS-232 over
Bluetooth, I can't be sure, but that seems like a good guess. Tekgear
has stocked some killer Bluetooth RS-232 stuff before, I remember I
wanted the TDK BISM to add BT to the gumstix board before they got
their onboard bluetooth, glad I waited though, onboard chip for
bluetooth is much more elegant... anyways not to get off topic,
again...

if you're uncomfortable with the work required to get the BISM doing
your transmission you might look into the simpler kits on the tekgear
site like the Brainbox products
