> Is the ps/2 considered a serial cable in this case? Tough to say without some more research but I doubt it. I think you would have to use a device with the HID profile. The RS232->BT converters only have the SP Profile active. If your program isn't looking for your device on the serial port, I don't think you will be able to use it. I have not seen a serial keyboard. > Does that mean we would need to use two of these "serial cable > replacements"-- one for keyboard and another mouse, or will it carry the > combined signal, and will have to split it out somehow to attatch to a > PC that won't accept the combined input signal. BT devices can support up to 7 concurrent connections. This means that your PC can have 1 BT adapter on it and have 7 other devices connected to it at one time. Therefore you would only need 1 device on the PC side, I'd recommend a lower cost USB/PCMCIA version, and a device for each peripheral you wanted to connect to the PC. -Tony _______________________________________________ Wear-Hard mailing listhttp://www.haven.org/mailman/listinfo/wear-hard
