Emagin SVGA+ OLED z800 HACKING

I posted a few days ago looking for a group purchase of the emagin svga pc
interface kit. I have some new, and very interesting information. Emagin is
shipping their z800 3d visor (contrary to what some google reviews say, I spoke
to their sales rep who said that they ARE in fact shipping them). This display
comes with 2, 800x600 SVGA OLED emissive microdisplays, Their optics solution
(x2), and an interface to a pc, as well as speakers, head tracking, etc. This
whole unit is $899. This is a pretty cost effective way of getting the parts to
build what I want (A covert, 800x600 monocular display). One problem is, I dont
have alot of engineering experience. How difficult will it be to ultimately turn
this 3d visor into a device similar to Don Papp's sunglasses?
