Hey all-

New to this list but not to an obsession with wearables. I got excited =
the other day when I stumbled on this little number. The unit seems to =
me to be the perfect core for a wearable, though it takes the fun out of =
designing your own. First, the beltclip part: 4.9" x 3.4" x 0.9"; 14 =
oz. Now the PC part: 1GHz Transmeta Crusoe, 20G HD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, =
USB, Firewire. It's got a 5" color display (W-VGA) but a docking cable =
that outputs VGA up to 1280 X 1024 which could feed into an HMD. It's =
a bit expensive at $1999 ($2300 with extra battery & beltclip case), and =
the advertised battery life is terrible, but I'm sorely tempted...

I'm sure I'm not the first person on this list to run across OQO. =
Anyone have any thoughts about its serviceability as a wearable core?

Best,
Nathan
