I have an EPIA500 fanless. It will run from a little 500mA wallwart.  I'd go 
to HomeDepot and pick up a 12v cordless drill from the clearance section(or 
14v and run a regulator) and use its battery, it probably won't last as long 
as a nice lithium ion but will be a lot cheaper.
