Sony Vaio U50 or U70 as a wearable computer core

Is anyone using the Sony Vaio U50 or U70 as a wearable computer core?  It is 
small, light, can get 5.5 hours on extended battery, has built in Wi-Fi, and 
many other features.

I was thinking you could get a Scott eVest, the Sony Vaio U, twiddler, and 
MicroOptical Corp's SV-6 HUD to build a very capable wearable. 

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Sony Vaio U series.  
Especially as a wearable.
