Folks- While we are not happy with this set-up yet, here the wearable
system I am currently using.

Connect a OQO Model 1+ using its small VGA adapter (special order) to
a Microoptical SV-6 or SV-3 display. Use a USB hub to both connect
the Twiddler and to power the Microoptical (some soldering required).
This set-up will run for about 2.5hrs on a charge. For longer battery
life we use a Datel UNS-5/3-D12 DC-DC convertor and a Sony NPF-960
battery plugged into the external power port on the OQO.

This system will overheat if too much heavy computation is done on it
for too long. To dissipate the heat, either it needs a metal plate
attached or kept in contact with the user. I'm exploring both now.

The VGA & USB connectors need some re-inforcing for my needs. I'm
looking using an aluminum plate to act both as a heat sink and a
connector reinforcer.

www.oqo.com ~2k$
www.handykey.com ~200$
www.microopticalcorp.com 1-2k$
www.datel.com ~35$

Total cost would be 3500-5000$ depending on models, batteries,
clothing, etc.
