Ah, but you can have CF and a LAN-to-WiFi bridging device (using a netCF
expansion board), the advantage of which being no fussing with drivers.

...or better yet, why limit yourself to a single Gumstix?  You can then
make a much more modular system where your PAN has multiple hot-plugable
devices, possibly using PoE to distribute power as well.  One netCF for
storage, another for Wifi, etc.

...or you could just wait for a little longer until they release their
WiFi enabled gumstix.  Latest word on the list was they were waiting for
their prototypes to arrive.
